On Tuesday evening, ACS held an exciting spelling bee with 20 talented participants. After several intense rounds, Alli McKay emerged as our champion, showcasing her impressive spelling skills. Jamison Shelley secured the runner-up position with a commendable performance. Unfortunately, Alli cannot attend the Regional Spelling Bee in March, so our third-place finisher, Lincoln Lapham, will proudly represent our school with Jamison. Congratulations to all participants for their hard work and dedication!

Our After School Enrichment Book Club is on a great adventure with the narrator, Audra,, as she secretly distributes books throughout Lithuania. Add hot cocoa with extra marshmallows; Wednesday evening can’t get any better! Sign-ups for our next cycle of After-School Enrichment opportunities will be in March. Be on the lookout for sign-up information to be sent home with your child soon!


Due to the current weather conditions and for the safety of our students and staff, Arkport CSD will be closed today, Thursday, February 6, 2025. All school-related activities, including after-school programs and athletic events, are also canceled.


Due to the weather, the Arkport Central School District will operate on a two-hour delay this morning, February 6, 2025. The school day will begin at 9:55 a.m., and buses will run two hours later than their usual pick-up times. Please plan accordingly and stay safe.

ACS has an anticipated opening for a part-time bus monitor. Hours are 6:45-8:00 a.m., and 2:30-4:00 p.m. Starting rate is $20.00 per hour.
