There was fun to spare for fifth grade students on their field trip to Maple City Bowl, which was a partnership with the physical education program. Students learned bowling skills, terminology, scoring and etiquette in PE class before hitting the lanes and putting their new skills to the test.

Congratulations to Shannon Spoth and Hannah Franklin! Their artwork was accepted into the RIT Student Art Exhibition and will be on display in the Bevier Gallery until Feb. 3. Shannon’s bust of Vincent Van Gogh is made of stoneware and was glazed in a style similar to the artist’s painting, “Starry Night." Hannah’s pencil and ink drawing was created observationally and then embellished with Easter eggs (printed pictures).
