Arkport Central School District is accepting pre-registration applications for pre-kindergarten (universal pre-K) as well as kindergarten registration for the 2023-2024 school year.
Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) registration
Children who will turn four on or before December 1, 2023 are eligible to apply for attendance in the Arkport Central School District universal pre-kindergarten (UPK) program. Children who are age-eligible to attend kindergarten are not eligible to apply for attendance in the UPK program.
To pre-register your child and to be placed on the mailing list to receive registration information, please call Mrs. Buckley at 607-295-7471, ext. 2000 by March 10, 2023.
Should the district receive more applications than the 18 available spots, the district will utilize a random selection process, as required by New York State. The drawing will take place on Thursday, April 13, 2023.
Families will be notified of whether their child received a spot in the UPK program by letter, which will be mailed on Friday, April 14, 2023.
Kindergarten registration
Arkport Central School District will be conducting kindergarten screenings in May for children who will be five years old on or before December 1, 2023. To be placed on a mailing list to receive registration materials, please call Mrs. Buckley at 607-295-7471, ext. 2000 by Monday, April 17, 2023.
