The Arkport-Canaseraga Athletic Department has put together a list of guidelines and expectations for spectators attending fall athletic events.

Spectator Protocol at Arkport

  • Arkport-Canaseraga spectators are only permitted to attend HOME games and meets. This rule is being followed by all the schools in the Steuben County league.
  • There will be a limit of two spectators per home-team athlete.
  • Soccer games in Arkport will take place on the JV or varsity soccer fields. Cross country meets will take place in the same area.
  • Spectators must enter at the Oliver Street entrance. There will be a chaperone recording the names of each individual who enters.
  • Every home-team athlete will receive two laminated spectator passes with lanyards. Passes MUST  be shown to the chaperone upon entrance. Spectators must use the lanyard to display the pass at all times.
  • During soccer games, the bleachers will be CLOSED. There will be designated boxes spaced six feet apart along a sideline. There will be room for two spectators to sit or stand in each box. DO NOT go into another box at any time during the game.
  • During cross country meets, the bleachers will be CLOSED. Spectators will use the boxes on the JV soccer field. The athletes will start and finish near the spectator area. They will also pass by two times during the race. We ask that spectators stay in their boxes throughout the competition.
  • Spectators may take their mask off while seated or while standing in their designated box. If you need to leave your box, you need to put your mask back on.
  • Keep your mask on pre-game and post-game, unless you are in your designated space.
  • Restrooms will be available; the concession stand will be closed.

  • There will be a limit of two spectators per home-team athlete.
  • Spectators must use the main parking lot and should enter by the softball backstop. There will be a chaperone recording the names of each individual who enters.
  • Every home-team athlete will receive two laminated spectator passes with lanyards. Passes MUST  be shown to the chaperone upon entrance. Spectators must use the lanyard to display the pass at all times.
  • During soccer games, the bleachers will be CLOSED. There will be designated boxes spaced six  feet apart along a sideline. There will be room for two spectators to sit or stand in each box. DO NOT go into another box at any time during the game.
