Arkport Central School District will hold two in-person and two virtual meetings for parents and members of the community members between Aug. 13 and Aug. 19.

All four sessions will cover general reopening information and will feature an opportunity to answer questions. Sessions will be capped at 90 minutes.

In-Person Sessions 

 In-person meetings will be held on Aug. 17 for PK-6 families and Aug. 19 for 7-12 families. Both of these meetings will take place at 5 p.m. Interested participants should fill out the form listed below to request a seat. Please note: in order to adhere to social distancing guidelines, the district will limit in-person participants to 45 per meeting.  Parents or guardians that have secured a seat will be contacted directly by the district. Participants will be asked to undergo a health screening and will be expected to wear a mask at any point that they are not seated, including, but not limited to, going to the bathroom, exiting their car and when unable to maintain 6 feet of distance. Virtual Sessions 

Virtual meetings will be held on Aug. 13 and Aug. 18. Both of these meetings will take place at 7 p.m. The virtual meetings will be streamed live, barring any technical difficulties, on the district’s website, Facebook page and YouTube channel. Participants who choose to tune into the livestream on Facebook and YouTube will be able to post questions in the comments. Administrators will make every attempt to answer questions during the livestreams. Questions that are unable to be addressed will be added to the district’s Reopening FAQ page, linked here. We ask that participants be respectful and civil during the meeting; comments with profane language will be removed.
