Every year we have one or more open seats on the Arkport Board of Education when the terms of some of our current Board members expire. Although they may choose to run for another term on the Board, any eligible resident may also run for the open seat(s). This year we have one open seat.
Potential candidates must collect 25 district resident signatures of endorsement to be placed on the ballot. Signature “petitions” are available now.

The school board election and budget vote will take place on May 20, from 11 a.m. -8 p.m., in the small gymnasium.
