Special Education

Special Education staff will:

  • continue to follow existing procedures to determine communications preferences and needs, and identify each parent’s preferred language.
  • Ensure that parents and legal guardians of students who receive special education services will receive communications about COVID-19 procedures that aligns with those preferences and needs.
  • Provide translation services for parents/legal guardians who need it to ensure meaningful engagement about their child.

Additionally, aboard approved Spanish speaking translator is available to provide communications to parents/legal guardians of those students who receive special education services.
